TradingView to Rithmic: what works today and what differs

Short answer

Shifu’s Rithmic route is live and ready. It passed Rithmic’s conformance testing in June 2026 and carries market, limit, stop and stop-limit entries, a take-profit and stop bracket resting at Rithmic, and a trailing stop with an arm-after trigger. Two things differ from Tradovate — it does not flatten a position before a new entry, and your balance and positions are not read back into Shifu yet.

  1. Connect the account

Dashboard → Accounts → Connect account → Rithmic (or NinjaTrader, then answer the one sign-in question). Enter your Rithmic username, the system name your firm gave you — for example “Rithmic 01” — and your account number, each spelled exactly as your firm shows it, spaces and capitals included.

  2. Create the bot and route it

Dashboard → Bots → New bot, then Account routing → switch the Rithmic account on and pick its size rule. Nothing on the bot is Rithmic-specific; the same bot can route to a Tradovate or paper account beside it.

  3. Remember the one behavioural difference

Rithmic does not flatten a prior position before a new entry. If your strategy sends a fresh entry while a position is open and you want to be flat first, send an exit alert before it — or rest a bracket on every entry so the exit is already at the broker.

  4. Start with one contract

The first live order over this route will be its first. Set the account’s routing rule to one contract, watch the first fills in your trading platform beside the Alerts page, then size up.

  • Many Apex, MyFundedFutures and Tradeify accounts sign in over Rithmic. If your login is a system name like “Rithmic 01”, this is your route.
  • TopstepX signs in only over ProjectX, which is not on this route or any other today. Bulenox’s own site names Rithmic, not ProjectX (read September 25, 2026); check its rules on automation before you connect.
  • A NinjaTrader account can sit on either rail: a Tradovate username and password means the Tradovate route; a system name means Rithmic.

Questions people ask

Can I connect a Rithmic account today?

Yes. The connect dialog takes a Rithmic login now, and alerts route to it. Start with one contract for the first days, as with any new route.

Which prop firms sign in over Rithmic?

Many Apex, MyFundedFutures and Tradeify accounts do; your firm decides the rail, not Shifu. Bulenox’s own site has you install R | Trader Pro to set up its account and names Rithmic, not ProjectX (read September 25, 2026). TopstepX signs in over ProjectX, which Shifu does not route to today. Whether a firm allows automation is its rule to check.

Will my balance show in Shifu on Rithmic?

Not yet. Balance and open positions on the Rithmic route are not read back into Shifu; you watch them in your trading platform. The Tradovate route shows them.

How is the trailing stop different on Rithmic?

It follows the last trade rather than bid or ask, with the same arm-after trigger the Tradovate route honours. The initial stop still sits exactly where stop_loss put it.
