Run your Shifu bots from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Shifu has a remote MCP server. Connect an AI assistant and it can set up, edit, pause and delete your bots, attach the accounts you already linked, and read your alerts, trades and journal. It can never add a broker account, place an order, close a position or move money.

What an assistant can do

  • Bots: create, edit, pause, resume and delete; pause every bot at once.
  • Accounts: attach or detach accounts you already linked in Shifu.
  • Journal: read alerts, refusals, trades, performance and stats.
  • News shield: check whether today's news hold covers a market.

What it can never do

  • Add, edit or delete a broker account. Your logins stay in Shifu.
  • Place an order, close a position or move money.
  • Show a bot's webhook key. You copy it from the bot's Setup tab yourself.

Safety you can check

  • Deleting a bot, rotating its secret, detaching an account and pausing every bot all need a yes from you first.
  • Tools that only read are marked read-only, so your assistant can tell them apart from tools that change something.
  • You can disconnect an assistant or delete a token any time on the AI Trading page.

How to connect

These are the same steps the AI Trading page shows after you sign in.

Claude

  1. Copy your Shifu connect link above.
  2. In Claude: Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector. Name it Shifu, paste the link, click Add.
  3. Click Connect and sign in to Shifu. No token to copy — you’re done. (Free plans allow one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an owner adds it first.)

ChatGPT

  1. Copy your Shifu connect link above.
  2. Turn on developer mode in Settings → Apps → Advanced settings (on Business, only an admin can), then Apps → Create: paste the link, pick OAuth, click Scan Tools.
  3. Sign in to Shifu when it asks, then click Create. Other ChatGPT plans can’t use Shifu’s tools yet — use Claude there.

Cursor

  1. Copy your Shifu connect link above.
  2. In Cursor: Settings → MCP → Add new server → URL, and paste the link.
  3. Cursor opens your browser to sign in to Shifu. Approve, and you’re connected.

Other tools

  1. Create a token in Advanced below.
  2. Add Shifu as an MCP server by URL (the link above) in your tool’s config.
  3. Send it as a header — Authorization: Bearer <your token>.

FAQ

Can the AI place trades for me?

No. It can set up and pause bots. Orders only come from your TradingView alerts.

Is it free?

It comes with every Shifu trial and plan.

Which assistants work?

Claude (every plan), ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise or Edu with developer mode) and Cursor. Any tool that can add an MCP server by URL works with a personal token.
